Sites can improve their ability to recruit patients by relying on recruiters, services, or through referring physicians. Using physicians can be challenging for some sites most physicians are not interested in clinical research and will need to learn more about it before they can refer. Once this is accomplished, the physician might refer and may be open to becoming a Sub-I or PI.
