Sponsors use investigational meetings to train sites on protocols and familiarize sites with details about the study that can help during the first patient visits. PIs strongly encouraged to attend investigational meetings so that sponsors can get to know sites better. Sites can use this opportunity to network with sponsors to learn about future studies that the sponsors might pursue.
