The CRA Academy Teaches The Clinical Research Site Selection Visit Basics To A Student

Site Selection Visits (also referred to as Site Qualification Visits) are intended to find out if a site is capable of following the protocol. Monitors must document who is present during the SSV and identify key personnel such as the PI, coordinator and any supporting personnel. The more the monitor is able to document, the easier it is for a sponsor to make the final decision as to what sites to add.
