Just when new sites were starting to learn how to negotiate budgets with sponsors and CRO’s, the industry found a way to make new changes. One of the changes that some sponsors and CRO’s are implementing has led to a move away from line by line negotiation for protocol procedures. The result of these changes has yet to spread to all sponsors and CRO’s but has the potential to push sites to bid for studies by asking for a smaller budget.
