Documenting Site Specifics During Clinical Research Site Selection Visits As A CRA

Site Selection Visits are crucial for determining a site’s capacity to conduct a new study. Upon arrival, the CRA conducting the SSV should review key items such as PI availability, staff size, clinic size or number of competing studies. Most sites that receive a SSV have a high likelihood of being awarded the study so long as what the CRA observes matches what was indicated in the surveys prior to the SSV.
