CRA Starting Salaries in Clinical Research

Most CRAs must start their career as as in-house-CRAs, study coordinators, or other research support roles. The amount of time that it takes someone to become a CRA can vary depending on how prepared they are after their first few years. However, once someone reaches the CRA level, they can look forward to working as employees for CROs or sponsors, and eventually becoming independent contractors.
