Clinical Research Coordinator Discusses Challenges With Virtual Patient Visits
A Clinical Research Coordinator talks about some of the barriers that he has encountered while working on remote clinical trials. The biggest concern that this CRC has is that some patients are not always available over the phone and additional time must be dedicated to reach patients throughout the day to collect study data. Although this may seem like a draw back, these types of studies are also very flexible and can help make clinical trials more accessible to a larger group of patients who might otherwise be unable to attend in person visits.
