Achieving Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity in Clinical Research

One of the current limitations of clinical research is that there is a lack of overall diversity within study participants. Simple factors such a site’s business hours can affect who has time to volunteer for a study, and excludes people who can’t take time off work. The lack of inclusivity means that many of the drugs in the market may have unintended effects on those who cannot participate in clinical research trials.
