In today’s video, we discuss the trend of consolidation, or the mergers and acquisitions, that are going on in the clinical trials industry at this moment in time. The reason for consolidation is obviously the cost cutting necessities that Big Pharma is faced with, and we have seen the CRO’s begin to consolidate as early as 2009. Today, what we are beginning to see, is many of the research clinics consolidating and joining together in order to be able to better compete and grow market share for themselves.
