Today we interview Brian Loew, CEO of Inspire.com. Inspire is a social network for patients interested in learning more about and connecting with people who want to learn more about their medical conditions. In some cases, these medical conditions may be serious, and in other cases, they may not, but the point is that Brian has created a platform for individuals to connect and easily share info with one another on a very strongly controlled permission basis. Brian and his group also offer clinical trials matching service should members of the Inspire community wish to receive this information. We at The Clinical Trials Guru think this is a very interesting and innovative way to introduce the idea of clinical trials to people whom otherwise may never consider a clinical trial outside of Inspire.
