This is especially important in the outpatient studies where the clinical trial participants only come to the research clinic a few times each month. A big problem with clinical trials in general is that many study volunteers do not complete their clinical trials, and therefore, insufficient data is obtained from their participation. Don gives excellent advice for retention of study participants in clinical trials.
