OK, so maybe “enjoy” is a stretch, but there are strategies that some people have developed for making the most out of their time while they are in an inpatient unit for a particular clinical trial. As the days turn to weeks, many study participants have complained of boredom while they were in a clinical trial inpatient study. As these studies usually pay the most money to the participant, most people generally want to finish the trial. Of course, you can withdraw at anytime, but you don’t really want to withdraw from boredom. If you have to withdraw, it should be because you can’t tolerate the study drug or other such justifiable issues. The boredom can easily be cured by following Don’s advice.
