Furthermore, Danny participates in these healthy volunteer clinical trials for the money like everyone else, but he says it also buys and allows for him to live the lifestyle that he wants. he travels across the country and is able to afford that via participating in these clinical trials. Furthermore, without people like Danny volunteering in these clinical trials, no one in the later phases of clinical trials would ever want to volunteer without first knowing some side effects of the study drug. Knowing these side effects, and the maximum tolerated doses of the study drug would not be possible without healthy volunteers first participating in Phase 1 clinical trials.
