I was reading Centerwatch’s monthly newsletter and came across an interesting article regarding the fact that clinical trials have gotten a lot more complex over the last several years. More procedures per visit means longer study visits, but the same pay. However, perhaps the quality of care has also improved, although the quality of care in clinical trials has always been excellent. This may mean more face to face time with the study doctor and study coordinators, but be prepared to go through much more procedures. Also, clinical trials are getting tougher to qualify for as well.
