In my honest opinion, people who don’t understand their own expectations and reasons for joining a clinical trial, usually end up disappointed by the study process. The only person who can truly understand one’s expectations for joining a study is the very same individual who will eventually enroll into the study. We rarely hear this subject brought up, but it is very important to ensure that everyone who is considering joining a clinical trial understand what his or her own expectations for that study are, and only then could they be able to find an appropriate clinical trial to match those expectations.
